Biography
Nelly Awkar Lazo, MD, is a board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist with extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of solid tumors and hematologic malignancies. She provides evidence-based, patient-centered cancer care with a focus on comprehensive evaluation, individualized treatment planning, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Dr. Awkar Lazo completed fellowship training in hematology and oncology and has been in continuous oncology practice for nearly a decade. Her clinical background includes experience in academic and community settings, participation in clinical research, and management of complex oncologic and hematologic conditions.
