Biography

Muhammad Ali Khan, M.D. is a board-certified Hematologist and Medical Oncologist who brings over 10 years of experience to The Oncology Institute. Dr. Khan has an extensive background in treating patients in both the in-patient and outpatient settings.

Dr. Khan received his medical degree from King Edward University in Pakistan. He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Pittsburg Medical Center in Pennsylvania. He went on to complete his Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the University of Miami in Florida.

Dr. Khan is a well-published provider with deep knowledge of topics including multiple myeloma and leukemia. He’s presented on topics such as clinical outcomes for patients utilizing innovative therapies and pancreatic cancer.

Dr. Khan delivers culturally sensitive care to patients. For patients who speak Urdu or Punjabi, Dr. Khan is able to speak in their native language to ensure they understand their diagnosis and can be a part of their plan of treatment.
