Honghao “Hank” Yang, M.D.

Biography

Honghao (Hank) Yang, M.D., Ph.D., is a board-certified Hematology/Oncology specialist with over 40 years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Dr. Yang received his medical degree from Shanghai Second Medicine University in China. He completed his Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at UCLA School of Medicine in Los Angeles, CA. He was an attending physician at Cedar-Sinai Medical Center and taught as the Assistant Professor of the Department of Medicine at UCLA School of Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Yang has served as the Director, Laboratory of Multiple Myeloma and Bone Metastasis at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and the Director of Research at the Institute of Myeloma and Bone Cancer Research (IMBCR) in West Hollywood, California. He received his Ph.D. in Biological Chemistry from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, with a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship from the University of Maryland Cancer Center.

Dr. Yang has served as principal investigator on several clinical trials in the field of oncology including Multiple Myeloma and Prostate cancer. His clinical interests include new treatments for breast, prostate, lung, GI cancers, as well as Lymphoma and blood disorders.
