Biography

Georgios “George” Constantinou, M.D., is a board-certified Hematologist and Medical Oncologist. He received his medical degree from St. George’s University, School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. His residency in Internal Medicine and his Fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology were both completed at the State University of New York at Downstate Medical Center. During his fellowship, he was named Chief Fellow.

Dr. Constantinou also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and a Master of Science in Cell and Developmental Biology from the State University of New York at Upstate Medical University. Dr. Constantinou has previously worked with the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics and more recently with Lafayette General Medical Center in New Iberia, LA. In addition, he enjoys playing soccer and the piano.
