On October 15, 2020, The Oncology Institute’s Dr. Omkar Marathe was named one of the 40 Under 40 in Cancer by the Association for Value-Based Cancer Care
A lifelong native of Southern California, Dr. Marathe earned his bachelors in neuroscience from UCLA, magna cum laude, and his MD from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He trained in internal medicine at Scripps Green Hospital in San Diego and returned to Los Angeles to complete his fellowship in hematology/oncology at the UCLA-Olive View-Cedars Sinai program. He joined The Oncology Institute of Hope and Innovation in 2016.
