Biography

Michelle Lugo, DNP, APRN, AGNP-C is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from South University, followed by her MSN/DNP from University of South Florida. She recently graduated with her Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Adult Gerontology Primary Care specializing in Oncology.

Michelle began her nursing career in 2014 at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute. She has several years of experience in both hospital and outpatient settings having worked at USF Health, First Knight Medical, and Moffitt Cancer Center, just to name a few. Known for her strong critical thinking skills and her compassion, Michelle strives to provide her patients with the best possible care in a compassionate manner.

Michelle speaks English and Spanish. She will be meeting with patients at The Oncology Institute’s Tampa–Habana clinic.
