Ngan Nguyen, D.O.

Biography

Ngan Nguyen, D.O. is a board certified Medical Oncologist and Hematologist. She attended the University of California, Berkeley where she earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. She completed her medical degree at Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee. She went on to complete her Internal Medicine Residency, Hematology and Medical Oncology Fellowship at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis.

Dr. Nguyen has participated in several research presentations and has published several articles in the field of Oncology and Hematology. Her research topics include the effect of antiviral therapies on hepatocellular carcinoma, glioblastoma multiforme, glottic squamous cell cancer, and large cell prostate cancer. Her research abstracts have been presented at national conferences including the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN).

Giving back to her community by way of service is an integral part of Dr. Nguyen’s practice. She has served as a medical volunteer on multiple occasions, making an impact in underserved communities.
