Dr. Nenad Antic joins The Oncology Institute after spending the last 14 years in private practice. Dr. Antic pursued his fellowship at University of Arizona and completed his residency program at University of Chicago/Weiss Memorial Hospital. Upon completing medical school, he started a residency program at the Special Orthopedic Hospital Banjica in Belgrade, Yugoslavia. He has participated in several published research studies.

Dr. Antic is fluent in Serbo-Croatian and Russian.

Patient care philosophy

Dr. Antic believes in caring for his patient as a whole; not only using his medical expertise, but also being compassionate, respectful, and honest. Defining options of treatment that are available in managing a particular condition leads to a trusting relationship and better outcomes, especially in the ever-changing field of hematology and oncology. He believes in applying his skills, experience, advanced new technologies, and his personal judgment to each unique circumstance.
