Hiroshi Yamagata, M.D., FACP

Biography

Hiroshi Yamagata, M.D. is a board-certified Hematologist and Medical Oncologist. Dr. Yamagata has participated in several conferences, presenting on topics such as cancer and COVID-19. He has also received academic awards for research conducted during his fellowship and graduate studies. Dr. Yamagata received his medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in California. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at the Kettering Medical Center in Ohio where he served as Chief Fellow. He has experience working with patients in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.

Giving back by way of service is important to Dr. Yamagata who has worked as a medical volunteer with several different organizations, making a meaningful impact in the local community. He is also involved in several professional organizations which contributed to his professional development.
