Biography

Dr. Ersin S. Unal, MD/PhD. is a Board-Certified Hematologist and Medical Oncologist. He received his medical degree from Uludag University College of Medicine in Bursa, Turkey. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Jacobi Medical Center at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York. Dr. Unal completed his fellowship in Medical Oncology and Hematology at Montefiore Medical Center at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY. He holds a PhD degree in Biomedical Sciences/Molecular Pharmacology from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York.

Dr. Unal began his career as an attending Medical Oncologist and Hematologist at Essentia Health Cancer Center before working in private practice in Lakewood, California. Dr. Unal has been published many times throughout his career and he has been involved in both basic and clinical research studies.
