Ali Naboush, M.D. is a Hematologist and Medical Oncologist. He received his Medical Degree from University of Balamand. He completed his Internal Medicine Training at Staten Island University Hospital in New York, where he earned the Resident Research Award. He had fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
He started his career in 2017 at Rhode Island as a General Hematologist and Oncologist with a focus on Melanoma. Dr. Naboush was the Clinical Director of the Inpatient Hematology and Oncology service at Rhode Island and the Miriam Hospitals where he was heavily involved in the education of Students, Residents, and Fellows. He was also an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Brown University and earned the Internal Medicine Teaching Award from Brown Alpert Medical School in 2020. Dr. Naboush served on multiple committees at Rhode Island Hospital involving inpatient quality improvement and home health care.
Throughout his career, Dr. Naboush has published several times in the field of Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Oncology. He has received and maintained a certification from the American board of Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Oncology. He is also an active member of the American Society of Hematology (ASH) and the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).
He will be seeing patients at the Oncology Institute’s Downtown St. Petersburg Clinic.
Dr. Naboush is fluent in English and Arabic.
