As one of our incredible nurse practitioners, Lori is a key partner for our patients on their journeys. She graduated from Fresno State in 1980 and went on to graduate with distinction after earning her Master of Science in nursing, also specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Lori has been a registered nurse form more than 30 years, mostly in critical care areas and with eight years in medical oncology. She cares for patients from the beginning of their treatment through their long-term follow-ups, and she values the relationships she’s built with patients over the years—her favorite part of her job is the personal satisfaction of helping women in the Central Valley.
Lori is very active when not at work, spending time traveling to the coast, kayaking in Huntington, cycling in the foothills of Fresno, hiking in Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks, and walking with her golden retriever, Sadie. She also enjoys spending time visiting with her father, a 97-year-old WWII Marine veteran and survivor of lung cancer.
