Rita Mukherjee, M.D.

Biography

Rita Maity-Mukherjee, M.D. is a Board-Certified Medical Oncologist based in Las Vegas Nevada. She obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree from Kolkata National Medical College, Calcutta University, India. Following an internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Mukherjee pursued postgraduate research in Reproductive Immunology at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. She continued her medical training with a Residency at Howard University in Washington, D.C, culminating in a Fellowship in Medical Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplantation jointly undertaken at Howard University and Georgetown University.

Dr. Mukherjee has held academic positions at institutions such as Touro University and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). She has made significant contributions to patient care as a Consulting Oncologist in the Southern Nevada Healthcare System and through her private practice.

Throughout her career, she has been actively involved in research, notably serving as a principal investigator for various clinical trials focused on advancing treatment modalities in oncology. Recognized for her contributions to the medical field, Dr. Mukherjee has received numerous accolades and honors.
