Biography
Pedro E. Mendez, M.D. is a Medical Oncologist in Tampa, FL. He received his medical degree from Cayetano Heredia University in 1974 and has been practicing medicine for over 45 years.
Dr. Pedro E. Mendez completed his medical residency at New York Medical College – Misercordia Hospital Medical Center in 1979. Dr. Mendez went on to his fellowship at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center which he completed in 1982.
He has worked with many hospitals in the Tampa area including St. Joseph’s Tampa Care and South Florida Baptist Hospital. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of blood disorders and malignancies.
Dr. Mendez is fluent in Spanish.
