Michael Del Rosario, M.D.

Biography

Michael Del Rosario, M.D. is a Board-Certified Medical Oncologist and Hematologist based in Southern California. He completed his undergraduate studies in Biochemistry and Cell Biology at the University of California, San Diego. He went on to earn his medical degree from St. George’s University, School of Medicine. Following this, Dr. Del Rosario completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Eisenhower Medical Center and further specialized with a Hematology and Oncology Fellowship at the University of California, Irvine.

Dr. Del Rosario has held significant professional roles throughout his career, beginning as an Attending Internal Medicine Physician at Eisenhower Medical Associates. He most recently was a Medical Oncologist and Hematologist with Cancer & Blood Specialty Clinic. He is an active member of the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the American Society of Hematology. His contributions to medical research are substantial, with numerous publications and abstracts focusing on oncology and hematology. His research work includes examining the impacts of socioeconomic factors on cancer survival rates and exploring innovative treatments for metastatic colorectal carcinoma.

Outside of his professional life, he enjoys spending time with his family and his dog. He is an avid fitness enthusiast and enjoys running, weightlifting and Brazilian jiu jitsu. Dr. Del Rosario also has a love for electronic dance music, anime, and Korean dramas. He is also a devoted fan of Bay Area sports teams including the Giants and 49ers.
