Biography

Jose Valladares, M.D., is a board-certified Medical Oncologist and Hematologist. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a medical degree from San Marcos University in Lima, Peru. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital at Albert Einstein University in New York. Dr. Valladares continued his education with a Hematology-Oncology Fellowship at Cook County Hospital, University of Illinois at Chicago and a Bone Marrow Transplant Fellowship at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.

Dr. Valladares has served as a dedicated Medical Oncologist and Hematologist at DeTar Health System in Victoria, Texas. Dr. Valladares also practiced at Cancer Radiation and Specialties Clinic in El Paso, Texas and maintained his own private practice in Houston, Texas. His commitment to addressing healthcare disparities is evident in his work at South Texas Cancer Center in Corpus Christi, Texas, where he provided specialized care to underserved areas.
