Biography

Dr. Dong Xiang is a board-certified hematologist-oncologist committed to state-of-the-art patient care and translational research. He earned his M.D. from Southern Medical University in 1989, followed by an M.S. in Molecular Biology at the University of Alabama and an M.S. in Computer Science at SUNY Albany. After completing his Internal Medicine residency at New Hanover Regional Medical Center and Hematology-Oncology fellowship at the University of Louisville, he joined Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in 2021, where he directs early-phase clinical trials and leads biomarker discovery efforts. Dr. Xiang has authored numerous publications in microarray analytics, immunotherapy, and molecular oncology, and he brings a compassionate, patient-centered approach to every consultation.
