Clinic Location and Parking Information

Our Upland location can be found on East Foothill Boulevard, less than a mile up the road from San Antonio Regional Hospital. Although we are closed on Monday, you can make an appointment on all other weekdays until 5:00 p.m. There is plenty of free parking available.

I was greeted in a timely manner by Receptionist Matthew, quickly triaged by Medical Assistant Rosa. Although I wish she would have picked up on my hint to retake my height as I’m certain I didn’t shrink 2.5” from my last 5 doctors visits over past 6 months.
However, My Bad 😌 I should have insisted instead of hinting.
Next I was greeted by a warm and welcoming Mariene the NP entrusted with my care.
I couldn’t ask for more!
She is highly knowledgeable, obtained detailed pertinent history and physical examination, all the while answering my barrage of questions with patience and compassion.
Mariene detailed a clear and concise plan rooted in Evidence Based Medicine for my ensuing laboratory work up and follow up appointment with Dr Hashimi to discuss results. But more excitedly, my continued care with her quarterly.
Matthew took care of Mariene’s orders and had me out the door in no time.

Dr. Unal is great and so are all the nurses. The front reception employees are not very friendly and there is a high turnover. For an oncology office I think you need to have friend, caring staff because your patients are going through a lot. If I managed this office I would ensure to have the right people working with the patients. That’s my only complaint. There was a woman named Dulce that was very good when I first started treatment. Sadly, they moved her to a different location.
