We utilize leading radiation therapy treatments that damage, shrink, and kill cancer cells and tumors. We use two forms of radiation therapy — external and internal. With external radiation therapy, a machine directs photon beams at the cancer location. Internal radiation therapy uses a capsule or intravenous or injectable liquid to enter the bloodstream and target cancer.

• Chemotherapy: Chemotherapy is one of the first defenses against cancer. This treatment uses oral or intravenous injection medication to target and kill cancer cells and tumors.
• Immunotherapy: Immunotherapy utilizes the body’s immune system to fight cancer cells, limiting the damage to surrounding healthy cells. When paired with chemotherapy, this treatment can reduce side effects.
• Hormone therapy: Hormone therapy is a treatment against hormonal-related cancers, such as breast cancer, uterine cancer, or ovarian cancer. It works to block the production of the hormone that is feeding the cancer.
