Margaret Spencer, FNP-BC

Biography

Margaret “Maggie” Spencer, FNP-BC is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Arizona, followed by receiving her Master of Science in Nursing from Simmons University.

She began her medical career in 2008 as a Certified and Licensed Pharmacy Technician for PharMerica. She has over 10 years of experience having worked in the ICU and on the medical surgical floor of Banner University Medical Center Tucson.

Margaret believes in treating patients as if they are a member of her family. Empathy and compassion are at the core of bringing optimal health to the individual. She believes it is important to educate the patient so they can understand their diagnosis and treatment plan, and be an active participant in their plan of care. Margaret is also highly sensitive to patients’ religious, cultural, and personal values.
