James Blanco, PA-C, is a physician assistant who brings over 25 years of experience to The Oncology Institute of Hope and Innovation. James has worked 13 years in Family Practice and 13 years in Hematology/Oncology. He received his Bachelor of Medical Science in PA Studies from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois.
James holds a deep understanding for patients and their loved ones as they navigate their cancer journey. James empathizes with patients as his father was diagnosed with prostate cancer, he has lost an aunt to metastatic pancreatic cancer, and currently has an aunt battling colorectal cancer. He makes sure to treat each patient with compassion, as if they are family.
