Biography

Divina Murao is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over two decades of combined experience in pharmacy, nursing, and medicine. She is licensed both in Nevada and California, and very passionate about delivering whole-person care that goes beyond treating illness to support long-term wellness—physically, emotionally, and mentally.

Originally from the Philippines, Divina began her professional journey by earning a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Santo Tomas, a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Perpetual Help System, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Dr. Carlos Lanting College. This diverse academic foundation, paired with years of hands-on clinical work in Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center acute care, ortho-neuro-spine, post-surgical recovery, rehabilitation care and clinical leadership, has shaped her holistic and collaborative approach to patient care.

She completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Purdue University Global, with recognitions for her excellence in both clinical and academic settings. She is an active member of well-respected professional nursing organizations and is currently completing post-graduate training as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to further support patients’ mental and emotional needs alongside physical care.

Divina believes that “healing begins when patients feel seen, heard, and supported—not just in their illness, but in their whole life story.” At The Oncology Institute of Hope and Innovation, she brings this philosophy to every patient interaction, fostering trust through genuine empathy, respect, and evidence-based practice.
