Dr. Ming-Swang Lok is a board certified Oncologist that brings over 35 years of medical experience to The Oncology Institute of Hope and Innovation.
Dr. Lok completed his undergraduate and medical education at the National Defense Medical Center in Taipei, Taiwan, Republic of China. He completed his rotating internship at Barberton Citizens Hospital in Barberton, Ohio and his residency at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Thereafter, he went to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY and fellowed in Hematology and then fellowed in Medical Oncology at Roswell Park Memorial Institute in Buffalo, NY.
Dr. Lok has participated in many research projects, but his main research interests included: Cancer Cell Lines, Cancer Immunology, Cancer DNA Vaccines and DNA Recombination and Genetic Engineering. He is interested in computerized medicine and medical education. He has many publications and has had several academic appointments.
