Syed Mahmood, MD, PA

Dr. Syed Mahmood is a board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist with over 38 years of experience in Hematology/Oncology. He received his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Khyber medical college in Peshawar, Pakistan. His residency in Internal Medicine was completed at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut. Dr. Mahmood would go on to complete his Hematology Fellowship at Wayne State University, followed by completing his Medical Oncology Fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital.

Dr. Mahmood previously worked with Bay Oncology Center in Panama City, FL as a private practice physician specializing in hematology and medical oncology. He would then go on to work with the Florida Cancer Affiliates of North Florida.
