Bio

Dr. Mohammed Hassan Sabbagh is an experienced Hematologist and Oncologist with a strong track record of practice-building in Texas and beyond. Dr. Sabbagh is an innovative leader committed to changing oncology care for the better and is excited to bring The Oncology Institute’s approach to the Austin area.

Dr. Sabbagh built and grew the Victoria Cancer Care Center in Victoria, TX over a 17-year period, serving as the Medical Director and the Infusion Center Administrator, and transitioned the group to a hospital-based practice following Hurricane Harvey. Most recently he was part of the team at Cancer Center Northwest in Washington State. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, NY, and his Hematology and Oncology Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute.
