Dr. Dimitrios Diamandidis received his medical degree from Aristotelian University Medical School, Ptychion Latrikes, Thessaloniki, Greece. He completed a residency in nuclear medicine from Jackson Memorial Hospital from the University of Miami in Miami, Florida, and North Shore University Hospital, Cornell University Medical College in Manhasset, New York. He completed a residency in internal medicine from Rhode Island Hospital, Brown University, and a residency in internal medicine/primary care from the University of Connecticut Health Center. He completed a fellowship in medical oncology/hematology from M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, the University of Texas in Houston.
He has participated in multiple research studies and authored publications and abstracts.
Dr. Diamandidis is fluent in Greek.
Dr. Diamandidis is an experienced oncologist who believes compassion and respect for his patients and their loved ones are critical in cancer care. He believes in educating his patients so they better understand their condition and treatment options. He is highly sensitive to the religious, cultural, and personal values of his patients.
