Biography
Ammar Yousif, M.D. is a Hematologist and Medical Oncologist. He received his medical degree from Baghdad University College of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. His hematology and oncology fellowship was completed at the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ.
Dr. Yousif began his medical career in 2006 with the Baghdad Medical Center as part of a pre-graduation internship. Beginning in 2013, Dr. Yousif worked as a research assistant for the MD Anderson Cancer Center at the University of Texas in Houston. Throughout his career, Dr. Yousif has been published several times in multiple peer reviewed journal articles.
