Dr. Ali Baghian graduated with his Doctor of Medicine from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed his residency in internal medicine from Baton Rouge General Medical Center, Tulane University Health Sciences Center in Baton Rouge, and his fellowship in hematology/oncology from Tulane University Health Sciences Center Southeastern Veterans Health System in New Orleans. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Louisiana State University Honors College.
Dr. Baghian has participated in multiple research projects, delivered poster presentations, and authored publications. In October 2012 he received the Howard Hughes Medical Institute Research Scholarship.
Dr. Baghian is fluent in Farsi and French.
