Mitchell Berger, M.D., MMM

Dr. Mitchell Zachary Berger is a board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist with more than 25 years of experience in Oncology. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and Psychology from Duke University. Dr. Berger completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Alabama and went on to complete his Fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He received his Doctor of Medicine from UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and his Master’s of Medical Management (MMM) from Tulane University, School of Tropical Medicine.

Dr. Berger founded and served as President of North Atlanta Hematology and Oncology. He has served as Medical Director of a number of medical centers including CIGNA Healthcare of Florida, AETNA, and The Southeast Permanente Medical Group. Dr. Berger has also served as a Subject Matter Advisor in Oncology with Deloitte Consulting. His oncology research has been published numerous times in a variety of publications. He is a passionate, relationship-driven physician working to enhance quality, patient access, and value in health care.
