Dr. Michael Chung grew up in the Washington, DC, area. He went to Cornell University, where he also became a certified EMT and first responder. He worked in the food science laboratories as a premed student and graduated magna cum laude with a degree in computer science. Dr. Chung then moved to New York City for medical school at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, performed research at Columbia University, and visited rural clinics of Guatemala. He stayed in NYC for his residency at Beth Israel Medical Center, then moved to California to become a hematologist/oncologist at the University of Southern California Keck Cancer Center.
Dr. Chung is fluent in Spanish.
