Patient Assistance Coordinator
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
- Screen patients for foundation assistance
- Work closely with patients and physicians during the application process
- Work closely with eligibility department to ensure eligibility accuracy
- Bill foundations after primary insurance Payment
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills in the performance of work assignments and duties
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient computer skills (MS Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Knowledge of medical terminology, HCPCS, ICD-9 and CPT coding
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
- Previous Oncology/Hematology experience preferred but not required
