Patient Assistance Coordinator

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Screen patients for foundation assistance
  • Work closely with patients and physicians during the application process
  • Work closely with eligibility department to ensure eligibility accuracy
  • Bill foundations after primary insurance Payment
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills in the performance of work assignments and duties

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient computer skills (MS Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, HCPCS, ICD-9 and CPT coding
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
  • Previous Oncology/Hematology experience preferred but not required
