Credentialing Coordinator

Essential Job Function/ Responsibilities:

  • Process credentialing and re-credentialing applications of healthcare providers
  • Complete and review hospital and medical group applications
  • Prepare verification letters
  • Maintain CAQH database
  • Contact Medical schools, medical staff offices, licensing agencies and insurance carriers
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills in the performance of work assignments and duties

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient computer skills (MS Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Efficient filling skills
  • Good grammar and spelling skills
  • Function as an effective team member within the practice, and cooperate with other personnel to maintain good relations with hospitals, medical groups, licensing agencies and etc.
  • Strong ability to multi-task while also maintaining professional demeanor
  • 2-4 years of related experience required
