Credentialing Coordinator
Essential Job Function/ Responsibilities:
- Process credentialing and re-credentialing applications of healthcare providers
- Complete and review hospital and medical group applications
- Prepare verification letters
- Maintain CAQH database
- Contact Medical schools, medical staff offices, licensing agencies and insurance carriers
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills in the performance of work assignments and duties
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient computer skills (MS Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Efficient filling skills
- Good grammar and spelling skills
- Function as an effective team member within the practice, and cooperate with other personnel to maintain good relations with hospitals, medical groups, licensing agencies and etc.
- Strong ability to multi-task while also maintaining professional demeanor
- 2-4 years of related experience required
