Catherine Chan, MSN, AGNP-C, is a board-certified nurse practitioner.
Catherine received her nurse practitioner training in University of California, Los Angeles. During her training, she managed patients in diverse settings including the VA Healthcare System, UCLA Liver Institute, as well as primary care and internal medicine clinics in the community. At the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, she volunteered to make visits and manage veterans in their street tents. She is passionate in ensuring that everyone’s mental and physical health needs are treated, especially during a national public health crisis.
Prior to advancing her degree, Catherine proudly served in the United States Air Force as a registered nurse. She had over eight years of diverse experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Her passion in oncology and hematology is driven by her mother’s story as a cancer survivor. In her daily practice, Catherine strives to engage patients and families in their own treatment plans and to optimize their quality of life as her highest priority. During her free time, she enjoys staying active, traveling, and volunteering in the community.
She is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
